INSTITUTE OF MACHINE AND INDUSTRIAL DESIGN

Institute of Machine and Industrial Design is part of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Brno University of Technology. It has a long history dating back to 1901. Our researchers and students expand through fundamental and applied research and experimental development knowledge it the field of mechanical engineering. We focus not only on traditional fields of mechanical engineering but also on new technologies and interdisciplinary research. We provide our students an outstanding engineering education. We have been continuously improving our study programmes so as they reflect not only current state of knowledge but also match the needs of labour market and industry. We have a history of successful cooperation with industrial and public sector.
